scheduled for April 19 to April 24, 2012. I would like to take this opportunity and extend an offer to all Glover Sailors to join us and remember our time onboard the Glover and most importantly have a great time.

The following represents an agreement between: Glover Reunion and Holiday Isle Beach Resort and Marina, Mile Marker 84, Islamorada, FL 33036, and outlines specific conditions and services to be provided.
NAME OF EVENT: 2012 Glover Reunion
OFFICIAL PROGRAM DATES: April 19 – April 24, 2012
ANTICIPATED NUMBER OF ROOMS: 12
GUEST ROOM COMMITMENT
Room Block: Two night minimum stay required in order to receive discounted rates; one night reservations accepted based upon availability and at prevailing rate.

Standard Room 199.00 to 239.00
Suite 415.00
Above rates do not include state and local taxes, currently 12.5% and resort fee of $15 plus tax per room per day, which includes in room wireless internet access, public area wireless high speed internet access, local calls, 800 access calls, national newspapers and coffee in resort lobby, in room-coffee, beach chairs and beach towels.
METHOD OF RESERVATIONS
Reservations for the Event will be made by individual attendees directly with Holiday Isle reservations at 800-327-7070 or (305) 664-2321. Please ask for The 2012 Glover Reunion block of rooms to reserve your sleeping room.
GUARANTEED RESERVATIONS
All reservations must be guaranteed with a deposit equal to all three nights room and tax. Each guest will have up to three (3) days prior to arrival to cancel and receive a refund of the deposit received.
FUNCTION (S) DESIRED:
No Functions have been planned.
PLEASE NOTE
Holiday Isle is a licensed property and the introduction of alcohol is prohibited unless purchased at Holiday Isle. No coolers allowed in the common areas of the property. All food items prepared by hotel which are not consumed at function shall remain with the hotel due to insurance regulations; no “to go boxes” allowed. Function space is booked as of the date the contract is signed. In the event such function space becomes unavailable and/ or unusable for any reason, the hotel will move event to a location to accommodate event, or refund deposit, and hotel will be held harmless for any claims arising there from. Hotel reserves the right to move outside function location in the event of inclement weather and such decision will reasonably be made by hotel.
CUTOFF DATE
Reservations by attendees must be received on or before Thursday, March 22, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. At the Cutoff Date, Hotel will review the reservation pickup for the Event, release the unreserved rooms for general sale, and determine whether it can accept reservations based on a space- and rate-available basis at the The 2012 Glover Reunion group rate after this date. Rooms will be dropped at the cutoff date and will be returned to hotel’s inventory, with no further financial obligation on the part of The 2012 Glover Reunion Group for rooms that are released to the Hotel for resale.
BILLING ARRANGEMENTS
The following billing arrangements apply:

IMPOSSIBILITY
The performance of this Agreement is subject to termination without liability upon the occurrence of any circumstance beyond the control of either party – such as acts of God, war, government regulations, disaster, strikes (except those involving the employees or agents of the party seeking the protection of this clause), civil disorder, or curtailment of transportation facilities – to the extent that such circumstance makes it illegal or impossible to provide or use the Hotel facilities. The ability to terminate this Agreement without liability pursuant to this paragraph is conditioned upon delivery of written notice to the other party setting forth the basis for such termination as soon as reasonably practical – but in no event longer than (10) days – after learning of such basis.
CHANGES, ADDITIONS, STIPULATIONS, OR LINING OUT
Any changes, additions, stipulations, or deletions, including corrective lining out by either Hotel or The 2012 Glover Reunion will not be considered agreed to or binding on the other unless such modifications have been initialed or otherwise approved in writing by the other.
LITIGATION EXPENSES
The parties agree that, in the event litigation relating to this Agreement is filed by either party, the non-prevailing party in such litigation will pay the prevailing party's costs resulting from the litigation, including reasonable attorneys’ fees.
LIQUOR LICENSE
The 2012 Glover Reunion understands that Hotel’s liquor license requires that beverages only be dispensed by Hotel employees or bartenders may be consumed in the public areas. Alcoholic beverage service may be denied to those guests who appear to be intoxicated or are under age.
ACCEPTANCE
Prior to execution by both parties, this document represents an offer by the Hotel. The outlined format and dates will be held by the Hotel for The 2012 Glover Reunion Group on a first-option basis until Friday, November 4, 2011. If The 2012 Glover Reunion Group cannot make a commitment prior to that date, the offer will revert to a second option basis or, at the Hotel’s option, the arrangements will be released, in which case neither party will have any further obligations. Upon receipt by Hotel of a fully executed version of this Agreement and deposit prior to, or upon Hotel’s acceptance of a fully executed version of this Agreement after such date, it will be placed on a definite basis and will be binding upon Hotel and The 2012 Glover Reunion Group. Hotel and The 2012 Glover Reunion Group have agreed to and have executed the The 2012 Glover Reunion Group this Agreement by their authorized representatives as of the dates indicated below.
GROUND TRANSPORTATION FROM MIAMI AIRPORT
For those concerned about ground transportation, the crew can fly into Miami and through a crew effort we can have a van to get us to the reunion and back to the airport.
